My Poor Bro

Aaron called last night, but he only had 1 1/2 minutes to talk to both Hayden and I. So needless to say we really didn't get a chance to cath up! Within my 45 seconds he told me the Army was really tuff and that he was sick :( it broke my heart. Please continue to pray for him. I know he is where God wants him for the time being, but I just worry about him!

I love you and I'm so proud of my brother! If, anyone wants to write him a letter email me and I will send you his address (letters from friends and family is like chicken soup)!

He Called!

Ok, well he called last Saturday night! It was such an amazing feeling to hear his voice on the other end of the line. Aaron sounded great. He was in good spirits and he really sounded up beat. I guess so far he has only been getting ready for "the hard stuff". Getting fitted for his clothes, getting shots, etc.

So please keep him in your prayers this week. He really needs God's strength and courage! Also pray for Hayden his birthday (15) is on Friday and I'm just worried he will feel alone without his dad.

Love you all!

Week 1

As of today- it's been a complete week since my brother left. I often find myself wondering what he is doing, how he is doing and I'm constantly praying for his safety. Hayden seems to be doing really well, even though I know he misses his dad. Please continue to pray for both of them. Until next time...

No Word

It's only been a few days since we heard from him, but he is now in GA.
I'm sure he has started boot camp for sure :)
Please keep Aaron in your prayers.

Love you all... Team Aaron!

Day 3

We received a phone call today! And Aaron is doing great. He was on his way to the airport to fly to boot camp. He seemed a little nervous, yet excited. He had met four guys that he will be training with and was in good spirits!

I can't explain how awesome it was to hear his voice. Just to know he was ok, made the world of difference. Hayden was happy too :)

Until next time!

Day 2

It's only been a day without talking to Aaron, but it seems like a week. I keep hoping he will call and give us update, but so far... nothing. He was schedule to stay in Denver last night and is suppose to fly to GA today. I'm sure his heart is racing and his blood is pumping :)

Hayden has already taken over his dad's tv, games and moved his computer. lol As much as I know he misses him. He was all excited playing his video games on the BIG tv :) I'm sure it helped too that my mom is down tiling our bathroom. So he had lots of attention. Well, I gotta run!

Today's the BIG day!

What a bitter sweet day. Aaron left today to join the Army. I'm so proud of him, but yet my heart is heavy. In one hand I see him becoming something even better then he already is, but in the other hand I feel like a piece of me is missing.

It's hard to go from seeing someone everyday, to not being able to communicate with them what so ever. He will have no cell phone or computer while he's a basic training (6 months). He will be able to write and call once in awhile. So I guess we will just have to wait (something I'm not the best at).

I will keep all of you updated on his progress. Keep him in your prayers. He's not in the best of shape. He's 5'11" and he only weighs 129 lbs. and he's walking into a life that is going to require a lot of him. Please add him to every prayer list you can!!!

Team Aaron,

Andrea
