Aaron's Graduation

It's official Aaron has graduated from Boot Camp... yippee!!! And his "battle buddies" rated him in the top 10% over 215 others :) That was a pretty big honor! Aaron and my dad are at his new station as we speak getting his new orders for the next 4 months. Attached are some pictures from yesterday's graduation!

FINALLY AN UPDATE

Sorry everyone I haven't blogged, but I do have some great news! Aaron has PASSED all of his physical test and he is in great shape! He went into the Army weighing a whopping 129 lbs and now he is up to 158 lbs. A 162 lbs with his shorts and Nike's lol that's what he told me! I guarantee there isn't a bit of fat... it's all muscle! Not to mention being in GA I'm sure he has a great tan too! I hope I recognize him ha!

Well, Hayden, Bella and I are flying out for his graduation on May 26 and returning home at midnight the 28th. My dad's going too, but he's driving. We are going to have a blast! I can't wait to see my brother. I'm so proud of him!

Please continue to pray for him... he needs them!!! Love you all and I hope you're doing wonderful!

PS The picture is of Hayden... he finally cut his hair :)

Gift of Life

We all know Aaron has the biggest heart and he has proven it once again! We received two letters from him last week. They were full pages, hand written in small print. Details on how boot camp is. Let's just say thank God for our military! The physical and mental work they do, to train for our safety is amazing.

One big ah ha moment was in the letter to us he wrote "he now realizes how much time was wasted" I know he loves us so much, but now he has truly sees the value of ONE day. What a gift each of us have reading this... the gift of life!

I love you all keep Aaron in your prayers!

Cheerleader!

Sorry I haven't blogged for awhile. Life has got in the way, but I'm still my brothers number one cheerleader lol :) Anyhow Aaron did write my dad and gave him a schedule of his day... ouch!! He wakes up at 3 am and his day begins. Full of exercise and drills ALL day. He has to be in bed with lights out by 9 pm and a couple nights per week he has guard duty during the night for a hour or so. He did tell my dad he is so out shape and feels like a old man and he's exhausted lol. I thought that part was cute!

He usually calls us on Sunday, but this week we waited around all day to hear his voice and nothing :( oh well hopefully this weekend!

If, you did write Aaron thank you so much! Please continue to write him as much as possible. His graduation date is May 28th & 29th for boot camp. Hayden, my dad and I are going YIPPEE!!!

Love you all and please take a minute and pray for our brave lil man!

My Poor Bro

Aaron called last night, but he only had 1 1/2 minutes to talk to both Hayden and I. So needless to say we really didn't get a chance to cath up! Within my 45 seconds he told me the Army was really tuff and that he was sick :( it broke my heart. Please continue to pray for him. I know he is where God wants him for the time being, but I just worry about him!

I love you and I'm so proud of my brother! If, anyone wants to write him a letter email me and I will send you his address (letters from friends and family is like chicken soup)!

He Called!

Ok, well he called last Saturday night! It was such an amazing feeling to hear his voice on the other end of the line. Aaron sounded great. He was in good spirits and he really sounded up beat. I guess so far he has only been getting ready for "the hard stuff". Getting fitted for his clothes, getting shots, etc.

So please keep him in your prayers this week. He really needs God's strength and courage! Also pray for Hayden his birthday (15) is on Friday and I'm just worried he will feel alone without his dad.

Love you all!

Week 1

As of today- it's been a complete week since my brother left. I often find myself wondering what he is doing, how he is doing and I'm constantly praying for his safety. Hayden seems to be doing really well, even though I know he misses his dad. Please continue to pray for both of them. Until next time...

Team Aaron,
